PRODUCTION

Prefag is working under the slogan -Partner in Precision-. Referring to this slogan all production facilities are laid out for the highest requirements to precision.

Due to the high vertical range of manufacture, Prefag is specialized to the production of complex rotary symmetric machined parts as well as to the thereof based assemblies.

Machined parts with 150 characteristics and a dimension of e.g. Ø 26 x 40mm are no exception. In our production we often go to the limits of the physically possible what will then cause high requirements to the assuring of quality and product functionality.

Our employees are mostly technicians or engineers in their domain and many of them did already their apprenticeship at Prefag so that they know our requirements to precision, complexity and quality from the start.

Our logistic systems which cover all areas like:

Shop floor papers and quality documentation Preset tools for the setting up as well as for abrasion Material supply and removal of chippingsProduct logistics as off logistcs station in a 2 hour sequence
assures that our employees are free to focus on the work on the machine.

The documentation and the thereof resulting standardized definition of tool endurance add to the target of a high process stability as does the central conditioning for the cooling lubricant.

Besides our continuing new and replacement investments, our integrated system for the preventive maintenance adds to a high availability of machinery. In our manufacturing equipment design and jig manufacturing department we build - where necessary - our own utilities like e.g. handling systems, assembly devices and we do the complete modernization of e.g. automatic round table transfer units.
